Mountain Bike Skills

The Cherry Capital Cycling Club is excited to offer a Mountain biking skills class. This program will teach a broad range of skills and is intended to build confidence and knowledge in riding your mountain bike. There will be two separate classes: beginner and intermediate.

 

This program will be taught by experienced mountain biker and racer Amelia Hasenorhl and others.

 

The series will consist of three classes per session and will cover bike handling, taking corners and turns, riding over obstacles, hill climbing and gearing strategies, riding on various surfaces, how to ride bumps, jumps and drops safely and effectively. Riders can take both classes or choose to take one or the other.

 

Registration opens on April 15

Class size is limited to 15 students.

Registration cost: $40 per participant / $25 for CCCC Club Members

 

Beginner Class: Monday Nights 6:00 - 8:00 pm. June 2, 9, 16

Beginner sessions will be held at the Vasa Pathway (Bartlett Rd trailhead) and Timber Ridge.


Mountain Bike Skills - Beginner - 6/2/2025


Intermediate Class: Monday Nights 6:00 – 8:00 pm. June 23, 30, July 7

Intermediate classes will be held at the Vasa Pathway (Bartlett Rd trailhead) and Palmer Woods.
