After getting rained out in May, let's try this again...

Surprisingly enough I was able to obtain a couple of campsites at both parks in the middle of August! Sites 38 and 40 at LSP for the night of the 19th, and group campsite G03 at DHD for the night of the 20th. Each LSP site has a max of 6 people (while the DHD group site lists 30 max) - which restricts our endeavor to the first 12 that sign up ONLY (remaining available campsites were almost gone). Although others wishing to make separate arrangements for the first night are welcome to join us at DHD for the 2nd night...

Total reservation fees were $96, which will be split among participants - you can reimburse me during the ride...

This should be a fun trip, provided we don't get weathered-out again! This is peak season at both parks, so we certainly won't be alone! But, Lake Michigan should be substantially warmer, which will take the edge off of the fact these parks are rustic-ONLY! (ie., no showers)

HOWEVER, don't worry about the Venmo stuff - just hit me up with the aforementioned reimbursement at ride start. Oh, and by the way, we'll still plan on starting from the DeYoung Nature parking lot at 11am, only on the 19th of August this time around...

Also note that SAG availability may not be possible - the campsites we're using do not allow vehicles parked at the sites (please contact the campgrounds directly if you're considering some form of vehicular SAG arrangement)...
