Sort of an adjunct to the semi-weekly gravel series, this ride involves about 11 miles of the Iceman Cometh route east of Williamsburg Road. A mountain bike is certainly appropriate, or a drop bar with wide tires for the adventurous...

Overall length is 22 miles - about 2/3 on singletrack. We'll depart from the Sand Lakes Quiet Area trailhead off of Broomhead Road, and loop around to the south. About 1000' of elevation gain, there are some punchy but short hills (including the infamous 'Make it Stick').

Hopefully with the recent weather we won't encounter a lot of trail debris. Note that while the heat maps indicate this path is well trampled, the navigation file attempts to follow numerous unmarked turns along the way, so this WON'T be a wide open ripper of a ride.

Definitely a NO DROP ride...
