Join the cycling community for the annual Ride of Silence memorial bike ride. In lieu of a mass start, just check-in and ride the well-marked 5 mile route through town, wearing a FREE commemorative helmet cover. Enjoy post ride special discounts on pizza. A portion from beer sales will be used to benefit cycling in the TC area. Participant Check-In: May 19, 2021, 6:00 - 7:00 pm The Filling Station Microbrewery 642 Railroad Place, Traverse City Ride of Silence (RoS) is a free ride that asks its cyclists to ride no faster than 12 mph, wear helmets, follow the rules of the road and remain silent during the ride. There are no registration fees. The ride, which is held during National Bike Month, aims to raise the awareness of cyclists, motorists, police and city officials that cyclists are frequent users of public roadways.
